Enquiries and Feedback

We value your enquiries and welcome your feedback. If we do this we will send you an email informing you of our actions.

Normally any survey and poll information we gather will be used in an anonymous way. If we intend to contact you about your responses to a particular survey we will say so when we ask you to take part in it.

Site usage information

A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site.

Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use traffic log cookies to identify which pages are being used. This helps us analyse data about web page traffic and improve our website in order to tailor it to customer needs. We only use this information for statistical analysis purposes and then the data is removed from the system.

Our site, like most websites, includes functionality provided by third parties. Our site includes the following which use cookies:
• Google – Privacy Policy
• Twitter – Privacy Policy
Disabling these cookies will likely break the functions offered by these third parties

Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.

What happens when I follow a link to another site?

The Chichester Society website contains many links to other websites managed by other organisations. This privacy policy applies only to this site, so you should always be aware when you are moving to another site and read the privacy statement of any other site(s) which collect personal information about you.

We will never pass on any personal information you have given us to any other organisation unless you have specifically asked us to do so.

Changes to this privacy policy

If this privacy policy changes in any way, we will place an updated version on this page. Regularly reviewing this page ensures you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties.
