Strongly Object. The work proposed will destroy historic fabric in this important seventeenth-century building. The age of the building quoted on the documents (1790) is clearly inaccurate. The building is so important that commercial considerations should not override historicity. This application should have been referred to the Historic Buildings Advisor but was not.
